World Atlas World Atlas is an application containing a political map of the Earth The program allows you to locate nearly 200 countries and displays their flags as well as information on their area and population. In addition, World Atlas features an in-built database of nearly 550 cities, which can also be located on the map. To top it, on certain mobile models you can download new layers of data, which can be displayed on the map along with the possibility of adding other multimedia such as pictures, sounds or additional descriptions.

You can scroll through the map by arrow buttons (joystick) or by pressing 2,4,6 and 8. If in a given view it is possible to zoom in or zoom out, a magnifying glass appears at the bottom of the display, marked by a hash (#) or an asterisk (*). Pressing the relevant button will respectively zoom in or zoom out of the map. The application has an raster map – it cannot be freely scaled or rotated. In a standard version, the application contains information on the location on countries and their biggest cities. The list of countries/cities is accessible from the main menu and through keyboard shortcuts: pressing 1 in the map window will display a list of countries visible in the current zoom, pressing 3 will display the relevant list of cities on a given part of the globe. To display a list of all cities or countries in the application, press 1 or 3 while the map is in the minimum zoom. The program also enables you to download additional layers from the Internet. In order to do this, select the "Layers" option from the main menu or press 7 in the map view.
